The Energy Poverty Alleviation Office “travels” daily through the streets of Athens

The Energy Poverty Alleviation Office (EPAO) of the City of Athens is “traveling” through the city’s streets with its new, colorful information campaign, displayed on buses, trolleybuses and at stops.

With the central message, “Learn how to reduce your energy costs with the support of the City of Athens,” the campaign brings the conversation about energy efficiency to the forefront while informing Athenians about how to contact the Office.

The Energy Poverty Alleviation Office is an initiative of the City of Athens and is implemented through Develop Athens S.A. Its goal is to identify energy-vulnerable households in Athens and reduce the phenomenon of energy poverty.

EPAO’s activities are part of the City of Athens’ commitment to providing financial and environmentally friendly solutions to citizens, helping Athens emerge as a model city for energy efficiency.

Through the City of Athens Citizens’ Helpline (1595), residents can schedule a meeting with the Office’s staff, receive advisory support on ways to reduce their energy expenses and, if eligible, obtain the Energy Benefit Card.

By completing the Office’s online application, citizens gain access to useful advice and practical solutions for improving the energy efficiency of their homes.

Complete the application today and learn more about your home’s energy status:
