Athens has been officially confirmed as the host city of the Energy Cities Annual Forum 2027, following an announcement made at the conclusion of this year’s forum in Guimarães, Portugal (April 28–30).
The Energy Cities Annual Forum serves as a meeting and networking hub for more than 1,000 members of the network across 30 countries. Its goal is to promote awareness, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and share best practices among local governments, organizations, and communities active in the field of sustainable energy.
At the same time, it strengthens cooperation between cities, European organizations, and networks, contributing to the development and implementation of European programs, as well as to the creation of funding tools that support the transition to a more sustainable future.
