The Energy Poverty Alleviation Office of the City of Athens is participating in the 5th ESG Universe Forum, which will take place online on Thursday, June 4.
Avgi Gonou, Sustainability and International Cooperation Advisor at EPAO, will present the Office’s work as part of the panel discussion “Nature as Risk, Data as Strategy: Climate, Biodiversity & Regional Transition”, highlighting the role of energy justice and social resilience in the transition towards a sustainable future. Through tailored interventions and innovative support measures, EPAO supports energy-vulnerable households in Athens, contributing to improved residential energy efficiency, reduced energy costs, and strengthened social cohesion.
Under the theme “Beyond Compliance: Transforming ESG Data into Operational Value”, the 5th ESG Universe Forum focuses on the key pillars shaping the sustainable development of businesses and organizations, including assurance and auditing, financing, supply chain resilience, and nature protection.
