On December 5, the ENERGATE Program held a workshop in Greece titled “Energy Upgrade of Buildings in Greece: European Guidelines, Financing Instruments, and Innovative Digital Tools.”
The main objective of the workshop was to inform the public about the key aspects of the project and the operation of the Energy Efficiency Marketplace, which is being developed through the ENERGATE Program Platform. At the same time, available financing tools for energy efficiency projects at both European and national levels were discussed, as well as the added value that ENERGATE can offer in today’s market landscape.
In his speech, Develop Athens CEO Ioannis Georgizas referred to the role of municipalities in energy savings, presenting examples from the initiative of eight municipalities in Attica titled the “Athens Energy Alliance.”
