
EPAO participated in the 16th Annual Capital Link Sustainability Forum, one of Greece’s leading events on sustainable development, bringing together representatives from the public and private sectors, local government, academia, and civil society to exchange views on the challenges and opportunities of sustainable development.

As part of the Forum, Avgi Gonou, Sustainability & International Cooperation Advisor at the EPAO, gave an interview presenting the Office’s work and highlighting the crucial role of local authorities in addressing energy poverty and advancing a just energy transition.
During the interview, she discussed EPAO’s initiatives to support energy-vulnerable households and emphasized the importance of targeted local interventions, cross-sector collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge and best practices on a European level to effectively tackle energy poverty.
